About

I am the Daily Mail’s south west reporter.

As part of my training on the Mail’s graduate scheme, I worked as a reporter for the Manchester Evening News and National, the London outpost of South West News Service, between September 2014 and January 2015.

I then joined the Mail as a general news reporter, before becoming the newsdesk forward planner in November 2015.

After a year on the newsdesk I was appointed south west reporter and moved to Bristol, covering the west country and south Wales.

I joined City University’s MA Newspaper Journalism course in September 2013, and while training had several exclusives published in national and local newspapers.

Before journalism, I achieved a first class degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter. I was editor of the student newspaper Exeposé in the year it was shortlisted for The Guardian’s Student Publication of the Year prize.
